Red Necked Wallaby

I painted this Red Necked Wallaby as part of a series I was doing with streaks of colour to form the animal. In this series, I painted a horse, a dog, a horse rearing and a mare and foal as well as this wallaby (which I actually painted twice). I really enjoyed using this style and it was popular as most of the originals sold a long time ago. I might do more one day if I feel inspired! I love the colours in this painting. The background really speaks to me of Australia.
