Coffee Pot and Lavender

Tracey is exploring a new method of painting. Still painted with a brush, it was moving away from her more recent works in a freer and looser style. A palette knife and credit card forces the artist not to focus on fine details but capture the image in loose, bold strokes. Creating an impression of the subject rather than a detailed 'copy'.
