Birds in the Garden Print

This is a commission for Tracey's friend, the brief was to create a painting with Magpies, Kookaburras, Butcher Birds and Willy Wagtails in it. Apart from that, she had free reign. She was provided with various photos of their property and decided to create this scene with the required birds, plus a pelican in the dam. She thoroughly enjoyed creating this rural scene. She used pointillism in pastels so it is entirely created in dots. This is her favourite method at the moment and it really comes into it’s own in a landscape.
