I have been painting this in my Widows Art Community sessions, so it takes even longer to complete. That’s the whole point of doing pointillism though - pun intended. It’s a slow form of art and gives me a fantastic break from the stresses of life.

It’s called Awake to Greet the Sun with their Green Figs. Another section of a quote from Kahlil Gibran. It’s getting harder and harder to find appropriate quotes.. This painting is of native Australian Sandpaper Figs with Fig Wasps. It was a difficult painting to put together, as finding the correct wasps was a big part of my research. In the end, they are so small I doubt anyone would know how hard I tried to make them the right ones.
